Why is it, that we always think of the things we could do better and rarely remember to pat ourselves on the back for what we ARE doing?

And not even what we do right, but just realizing that doing something, is already better than doing nothing.

It’s funny because this article is about bettering ourselves and our business, but as we push ourselves, it’s important to acknowledge when we are doing the work. And really - I should take my own advice, so I say this for all of us. Let’s dream big and work hard WHILE celebrating our small wins and the little things we do do, every day.

And now onto framing our mindset for growth…

Before the new year, I want to challenge you to set goals around what you want to learn and where you want to grow. In your business, or generally in your life!

Here’s a super-quick exercise to get you going… You can do this now (won’t take longer than 10 minutes) or during the holidays while you are sipping wine or egg-nog by the fire. (Wow, dreamy.)

First - grab a post-it note or piece of paper.

Think about your business and life as a whole. What are your current challenges? What are your greatest desires?

Now, without overthinking… Write down 3 things you want to learn or practice in 2022 that can solve your current challenges OR bring you closer to achieving your big goals.

1.

2.

3.

If you did this just now, congrats! That’s the hardest bit.

You’ve just taken a moment to be intentional about reaching your goals and addressing some challenges.

Now put this list somewhere safe, ideally somewhere you will see it on a regular basis.

Let those goals sit with you and keep them in mind as you choose what to work on in 2022.

Want us to keep you accountable?

Send us a note through our website (button below) and we’ll email you back in Q1 to remind you of your goals!

COOL right? WE know.

Beyond keeping you accountable, we’d really love to hear what you want to work on this year! If we can curate our blog further to address these topics we will - especially for you!

Oh, and here’s my sticky note for the new year:

Goal sticky note exercise

Much love,

Emilie
